I got in touch with what I thought was The Energy Centre, but it turns out they're using a genuine company’s Companies House number without permission. When I rang the actual firm connected to that number, they told me they’re not involved at all and can’t help with compensation claims like the scammer says. The real company is working with the police to catch these fraudsters, but so far, no luck tracking them down. Seems like a proper con.
