I tried to send a text with my info after the credit card fraud, and I also attempted to take money out using the card, but it didn’t work.

Sounds like a proper credit card scam to me. They used this number to send info about some dodgy transactions that actually happened. Weird thing is, it wasn’t my bank getting in touch but the scammer pretending to be them. I’ve blocked the number and reported it straight away.

Got a call from people claiming to be EventBrite about some concert tickets - total scam! And yeah, the tickets turned out to be fake as well. Luckily, I spotted the dodgy stuff pretty quick and cancelled my card, now waiting for a replacement. Weirdly, after that, they attempted to swipe over £600 on a different scam, even after my card was canceled! What cheek!
