I've kept a record of all my chats with this particular phone number. I met a chap on Tinder who suggested we carry on our conversation over WhatsApp, which I did for a bit. Today, he reached out claiming he was stranded at sea with his crew and in dire need of assistance. He even sent me "his coordinates," but when I looked them up, they were completely bogus. He wanted me to send an email to his so-called company, but luckily I stumbled upon this site and realised he's nothing but a scammer:
12.5331° N, 47.9224° E - these are the coordinates for Captain Luis Xavier, who’s supposedly stuck due to rough weather and a damaged propeller shaft. He’s looking for someone to rush him a propeller shaft. Here’s the email he provided: [email protected]. I’ve since blocked that number, but I've retained all our messages for my records.

The message insisted that I reach out regarding the procurement of provisions for a crew of 21, intended to last about 10 days. They even provided coordinates, which are 12.5331° N, 47.9224° E.
