Sounds like a classic bank scam to me. Got a call from an automated voice saying it was from one of our high street banks that we actually use, telling us a new direct debit was set up from our account and a big amount was going to be sent to an address in Birmingham. We didn’t wait to hear all of it and hung up pretty quick. Feels off, especially since it came from a mobile number on EE - I doubt any legit UK bank would call you from that kinda number.
