Got a call today on my home phone from this number claiming I had two charges on my credit card - something like £199 at Amazon and another for over £800 at a place I couldn’t quite catch. The strange thing was, the caller, coming from what seemed to be a mobile number, never mentioned which credit card company they were talking about - not a single word. They asked me to press '1' if I wanted to confirm these payments or '2' to talk to someone about it. I just hung up and blocked them straight away.
