Got a ring from 07722 229840 earlier, some bloke claiming to be from BT Openreach about my internet connection. Right away I knew it was dodgy when he started with "mam I am calling you...". He kept insisting he was legit but I told him to send me a letter or an email, not to call me like this. Funny thing is, this number apparently has been linked to calls about banks too - very odd. He was pretty pushy, so don’t give in to their nonsense - definitely a scammer.
