This number kept ringing me, and when I picked up, the person said they were from Citizens Advice. When I asked what it concerned, they mentioned unpaid credit cards and catalogues. I've never even ordered a catalogue! The number was blocked too. I'd suggest not picking up and just block it yourself.

Some bloke from India rang up and wanted to talk to me by name. I asked who was calling and he said it was some credit investigation service. I told him he had the wrong number, but he accused me of lying and said he’d ring me again tomorrow. What a load of rubbish!

This bloke just won't stop ringing me. I drag things out by saying I need to answer the door, sort out the dog, or feed the baby, just to keep him chatting. He seems to like it loads :)

Got a call from someone saying they were from the Credit Investigation Bureau. They kept calling me Miss [first name], but couldn't get my last name right to make sure they had the right person. Kept mentioning some unsecured debt, which I definitely don't owe. Pretty obvious they were fishing for my financial details.

Got a call from someone saying they were from Citizens Advice, telling me I supposedly qualified for some new government help with debt. Sounds dodgy to me! They just wouldn’t accept a refusal, so I ended up hanging up.

Got a call while I was chatting with someone else, then they called again. Tried ringing them back but it went straight to EE voicemail. Then they phoned me once more and asked for my name, so I asked who it was. If it was really important, they’d probably know my name already. It was a blocked number as well.

Watch out for this caller, an Indian guy who was shockingly rude and kept swearing. The company he represents seems really pushy and aggressive. Luckily, I've got a tough skin, but others might find it quite unpleasant.

This was a complete scam. The bloke called saying he was Frank and claimed he was from some “credit investigation service”. I didn’t give him any details and told him straight he was a con artist. Then he just hung up on me. Stay clear and don’t trust these lot!
