Got a recorded call telling me my free one month trial with Amazon Prime was finishing and they’d start charging £39.99 each month. Problem is, I’ve never signed up for Amazon Prime at all. Didn’t push any buttons because I figured it’s probably a scam. Plus, they didn’t even say my name, so I’m certain it’s dodgy.

Got a call from this number claiming to be Amazon, telling me some money had been taken from my account. They asked me to press 1 if I hadn’t made the purchase. It’s clearly a trick to make you call them back, and the number you ring ends up being run by fraudsters. My advice is don’t even bother responding - just hang up straight away.
