Got a robo call on my home phone from a woman claiming £600 was taken from my account and sent overseas. She told me to press 1 if I’d made the payment or 2 if I hadn’t. I just cut the call straight away and rang my bank, who said nothing had been taken. They warned that if I’d pressed any button, the scammers would have tried to nab my personal and bank details. This isn’t the first time I’ve had one of these calls, the number’s always different, but I always hang up and double-check with my bank.
