As I was heading back to my car, a couple of women stopped me saying they were police officers but didn’t show any ID. They claimed there was damage to my car from an accident, yet I couldn’t find anything in the incident report on the system. They asked for my personal info like name, address, and even ethnicity, then gave me a bogus CAD number. I’ve blocked their number and plan to report them.

I got a call from a lady who said she was with the police, and she began grilling me about my job. Then she mentioned someone I’d never heard of, which felt odd. After that, she wanted my personal info, but I just said no and told her I didn’t know who she was and wasn’t going to keep chatting. She said she might email me, but I never got anything in my inbox. Weird experience overall.
