Somebody messaged me on WhatsApp claiming to be a recruitment agent from Upwork Human Resources. They wanted to tell me about a ‘job’ opportunity. According to them, all I needed to do was subscribe to a YouTube channel they named, send a screenshot as proof, and I’d get paid £6 for it. They said if I did this in my free time daily, I could easily make £200 to £300 or even more. When I asked if they’d need my bank details, they confirmed. After I told them to quit scaring people with these tactics, they just stopped replying.
