Some woman called claiming to be from my bank and was really rude. She told me that someone in California was accessing my online account and trying to steal £600. She then got me to open Google, pointed at the IP address being from California and said that meant I was there, which wasn’t true at all. When I said I wouldn’t share my bank info, she shouted at me saying I was being rude and she was only trying to help. I later checked with my actual bank and they confirmed they never called me - the woman was definitely a scammer.
