Had a call from someone pretending to be from HM Revenue, saying I owed £2600 in unpaid taxes. They told me to pay immediately or they'd take legal action. Definitely a scam!

Scam caller tricked my partner into sending nearly a grand, and she was about to send even more before I caught on. Such awful people. Fingers crossed she can recover the cash. If you get a call like that, just hang up and report it straight away.

I got a call from 02079496139 and after I picked up, they sent me a message on WhatsApp from this same number. Definitely seemed like one of those HMRC scams.

Got a call from 07721038882 saying it was HMRC and that I'd be arrested by the police if I didn’t pay up loads of money on 24/06/20. Luckily, the guy at the post office I was talking to called the cops right away, and they showed up pretty quick and handled the whole thing. Apparently, they’ve seen loads of scams like this one and from other numbers as well. Be careful and don’t fall for these dodgy calls!
