Got three calls this week, all around the same time, but I didn’t pick up ‘cos I didn’t recognise the number. After reading the comments, I’ve decided to just block it.

Got calls from this number three times yesterday. Each time I picked up, there was just silence before they ended the call. When I tried calling them back, it said the number wasn’t recognised. Weird behaviour!

They kept ringing me up like five times daily. I finally picked up, and this person told me they were about to send a PPI form for me to sign. I just ended the call straight away.

Got two calls from this number today but they just dropped the line when I picked up. Needless to say, it’s straight onto my blocked list now.

Got a call from someone with an asian accent asking about my mortgage details. I told them I wasn’t interested and to prove it they said they were from tesco, then just cut the call. Definitely a scam, so be careful and don’t share your info.

Some bloke ringing up saying he was from Tesco, wanted me to confirm my postcode and if I was between 25 and 65 years old. I didn’t give him any details. When I asked where he got my info from, he said Tesco’s database had it. I told him I’d report Tesco to the Information Commissioner for breaching data protection laws. He hung up pretty sharpish after that! Total scam.

Got a call from someone with an Asian accent claiming to be from Tesco. He wanted me to verify my postcode, but as soon as I refused, he just ended the call. Sounds like a scam to me. Blocked the number straight away.

I got a call from an Asian guy on this number who used my name and asked if it was really me. When I asked who he was, he said something like “I’m with Tesco finance” and then asked if I was aged between 55 and 65 and if I had a mortgage. I said yes, then he just cut the call. Tried ringing back but it said “wrong number” so I reckon it might be some kind of scam.
