Got a call from this number while on the road, rang back once I got in. A bloke’s voice came through a recorded message sayin’ my national insurance is suspended ‘cause of fraud investigations. Said I had 48 hours to reply or I’d be nicked. First off, if this was real, why’d it use a recorded message? And second, if they were gonna arrest me, why give me a heads-up at all? Sounds dodgy to me. Blocked the number now, guess I’ll see if they actually show up. Will post what happens next.
