Got a text from +447719997439 today. Told my dad to keep the number saved - it’s definitely a scam. I ignored it and just ended up blocking and deleting it straight away.

Got a txt from some number saying "Dad save this new number". I was like, why would I need to do that? After an hour they messaged back saying they've moved their sim to 02 cause the offers are better. So I shot back with "Oh yeah? What's your Mum's name again?" ... then nothing. Figures. What’s the point of these shady texts anyway?
