Got a call from some dodgy place in India doing the usual Amazon Prime trick. They played this fake pre-recorded message claiming I'd just been charged £79 for Amazon Prime. Then it said if I didn’t make that payment press 1 to talk to an Amazon rep. Of course, when I pressed 1, I got through to some scammer from India trying to con me out of cash. From what I can tell, these scammers operate out of Salt Lake City, Sector 5 in Kolkata. Just watch out - they’re proper fraudsters.
