got a message from this number saying there was unusual activity on my paypal and gave a dodgy link. had a look at my paypal and everything seemed fine. definitely a scam, they’re not connected to paypal at all, probably just after your login info to steal your money. don’t tap on that link!

I got a call from someone pretending to be PayPal, saying my account was locked and that I needed to visit some strange website to fix it. But I checked and was able to log in to my account without any problem. I’ve already reported the phone number and the scam to PayPal.

Just got a dodgy text claiming my PayPal was locked and to click a link to sort it out. I logged into my PayPal from the app and it was all normal, so definitely a scam. Don’t be fooled into clicking that link!
