Hey there! I got a text from this number claiming to be from Lloyds bank, but it was weirdly worded (something like "merchant: Lloyds Banking group" at the start), and I know Lloyds never uses mobile numbers to text customers. The message tried to freak me out by saying there was an "attempted" payment of £545.24 on my account. I checked my actual banking app straight away and saw nothing like that. This number is definitely scammers trying to fool people! Best advice: don’t answer or engage, just block the number straight away.

My sister got a text from this number claiming to be Lloyds Bank trying some kind of scam. It looked like it might be from a real company, but honestly, probably not. They asked her to press N or something, and luckily she didn’t do it.
