While I was away on holiday, a scammer texted my mum pretending to be me. They claimed I had left an unpaid bill and asked if she could cover it for me. Mum ended up sending £1000 to a Halifax account. Then they wanted even more money, which raised her suspicions. She asked them to say my first dog’s name and suddenly they disappeared. Thankfully, the bank has given her the money back now, but please watch out for this number - these people are horrible.
