They said they wanted to talk about a job opportunity and asked me to save their number on WhatsApp. Pretty straightforward message.WhatsApp2 yearsTotal scam! They pretended to be my daughter in their messages. When they rang me asking for payment for a phone she supposedly bought, I asked to talk to her, but they just said that wasn’t allowed. They kept insisting that sending a receipt by email would guarantee everything was legit. Once I said I’d rather handle it at the store myself, they just cut the call. Proper dodgy behaviour.2 yearsSuch a dodgy scam. We’ve got a secret password in our family for emergencies, something only we all know. When this person called, they couldn’t get it right at all.2 yearsI got a message from someone who said I was their mum and that their phone was broken. They asked me to ring them on that number because it was really urgent. I reckon it’s either a mistaken number or some kind of nasty scam.
