Beware of a scam about National Insurance being suspended. I got a recorded call from someone pretending to be the National Crime Agency (NCA), saying my National Insurance number was going to be frozen unless I took some 'required steps'. Thing is, the NCA never use automated messages like that! When I tried calling the number back, it didn’t even ring through or wasn’t in service. This is a one-off scam attempt, so just ignore it and don’t fall for their story. They’re definitely not legitimate.
