Same situation here, folks. Received a text claiming we could be due "£50." They mentioned some records, but frankly, what records? We’ve never had an accident. To us, it all feels like a scam, and it certainly has that touch of someone who’s not a native English speaker. Suspect it’s a dodgy operation.

Indeed, I've just received a call from this number, and considering we keep our contact details fairly confidential, it seems these folks are engaging in some sort of widespread spamming campaign targeting various numbers. It's a shame to think about how much money they're likely pouring into this dubious activity.

We received a mysterious call from this number: "According to my records, you may be entitled to compensation of up to £50 due to a previous accident. To opt-out, please text STOP." The strange thing is, we didn’t engage with it since our number is private and only shared with a select few. This made us think that it could be linked to those pranksters. Anyone have an idea who might be behind this so we could lodge a complaint?

I've just received a call from this number and felt the need to look it up. What a bunch of jokers!

Same old tale, isn't it? A £5000 claim now, eh? I wonder who's leaked our private numbers? Something definitely smells fishy here...

We recently received a call from an unknown number. The message claimed, "Our records show you may be eligible for £5,000 in compensation due to an accident you experienced. To claim, simply reply with 'AID' to this message. If you wish to opt out, please text 'STOP'." We were reluctant to reply as our phone number is personal and shared with only a select few, meaning I’d just be validating whether these chancers are for real. Has anyone else had an encounter with this number? We're keen to report them if possible!

Indeed, I recently received a call from this number as well, and considering our number wasn't exactly public knowledge, it seems evident that these individuals might be engaging in some sort of rampant spamming across entire ranges of numbers. One can only hope that they're squandering a fortune on this fruitless endeavour!

I'm in the same boat, mates. Received a message claiming we could supposedly pocket "five thousand quid." They say it's based on their documents-what documents, I wonder? We've not been in any sort of mishap. This reeks of a scam, if you ask me, and from a non-native English speaker to boot. Feels like someone's trying to pull a fast one!

I received a text from them, too. It read something like, "Our records suggest you could be eligible for £5000 in compensation due to the accident you experienced. To proceed with your claim, simply reply with CLAIM to this message. If you wish to stop receiving messages, just text STOP." I'm in the same situation as Dave mentioned earlier; my number is quite private, and I haven’t sent any messages to confirm my information for them. It's rather concerning, to say the least!
