Got the same message twice saying something like, “Hello, I’d like to give you more info about an open role. Can you chat a bit now?” When I said they’d got the wrong number, they said they were Ian Davies, an HR director from “Simply Hired.” They promised ‘remote work’ paying £50 an hour for a vague group of people “aged 22 and over” who’ve lived in the UK for at least a year. Curious, I said I was interested, and then they wanted to switch the convo to WhatsApp. A quick search of Simply Hired showed me it was obviously a scam.
