Got a call saying there’s some dodgy activity on my National Insurance number and if I don’t sort it, court action’s coming. They said I should speak to someone about it. Didn’t seem legit though as the voice was an American robot, so I just ended the call. Funny enough, my daughter got the exact same call on the same day, from the same number, about the same thing - and she only just got her NI number recently. Definitely feels fishy!

Got calls from some sales people based in India - they rang my mobile today after trying my landline yesterday. Seemed like they wanted to pitch some kind of consolidated debt service. Definitely looks like they’ve got a list of people with past debts, credit card stuff maybe.

Got a call from someone claiming to be Citizens Advice about my debts, but I told them I didn’t owe anything. They just snapped back calling me a liar and then just ended the call, proper rude! Haha.

Got a call from someone claiming to be with a debt collection agency working for the county court. I just ended the call and blocked the number straight away.

some bloke rang me pretending to be from citizens advice, they never ring unless you’ve asked them! sounded like an asian guy, so i didn’t bother and just hung up and blocked the number straight away

This number called me twice and both times different people answered. They claimed to be from Citizens Advice and when I asked about GDPR and how they got my number, they just hung up pretty quick. Bit suspicious if you ask me.
