First time they rang, said they were calling from o2 but the number was Private. I told them I wasn’t interested and they just hung up on me. Then about 5 minutes later I got another call from 07719 691255 where I heard a message about HMRC sending me a letter. I wasn’t having any of it so I blocked the 07719 number straight away, which also stopped calls from that Private Number too.

Got that 'Simon' message too, just like everyone else. I thought maybe a package was on its way, but the text arrived at like 3am which felt a bit dodgy. I never click on links in texts, just to be safe.

Received a couple of texts from these - +44 7935 707488 and +44 7840 852606. They claimed, "Simon tried dropping off your parcel but nobody was in. You can pick a new delivery day through local-depot44 and postoffice-help-depot sites." Looks shady to me.

Whatever it is, steer clear of that link-it's bound to be dodgy. Curiously, I received the very same message from 07719 055217 about an hour later. Seems like a classic scam, probably trying to lure you into paying a made-up delivery fee or similar nonsense. Stay alert!

WATCH OUT FOR THIS LINK - TOTALLY A SCAM TO STEAL YOUR INFO! If you come across these dodgy attempts, make sure you report them. Just head over to Google and search for ‘action fraud’, then click through to the official ‘police.uk’ website. Find the section called ‘report a phishing attempt’ and have a proper read of all the info there first. After that, put the details of the scam into the police system yourself, including any suspicious URLs or web addresses you found. This really helps the police track how bad these scams are getting.

Got a text from this number saying I missed a delivery and needed to give my bank info. I called FedEx straight away and thankfully they said they had no record of any parcel for me. When I rang the number they texted, the call only rang twice before they hung up on me. Definitely a scam, so don't enter any of your payment details if you get a message like this. Always double check with the company first and don’t just trust what strangers tell you over the phone.
