I've just received a dodgy message from a number that my phone protector flagged. It mentioned that I must fork out £1.99 for shipping to get a parcel that I was supposedly awaiting. They claimed to be associated with Royal Mail. Sounds like a scam to me!

Honestly, this is total rubbish. I worked at Royal Mail delivering post for two decades, and there’s no such service at all. Loads of folks have ended up handing over their card info and getting scammed. Best thing to do is just delete the message and don’t even bother with it!

Got a dodgy text claiming I’ve got a package waiting with Royal Mail. It says I’ve got to pay £1.99 to collect it, or else it’ll be returned to the sender. I just blocked the number straight away.
