I got a call on my mobile from someone claiming to be with Amazon, saying there’d been a £700+ purchase on my account. I told them I hadn’t made any such order. They then sent me a one-time password and told me to jot it down. After that, they tried to get me to open Amazon Anydesk via the Play Store, but when I saw scam alerts pop up, I quickly hung up. I’d been a bit wary from the beginning anyway. Not long after, I got two more calls from different numbers, but I just ignored them. The numbers that rang were 07336 993650 and 07774 245652.
