Got a call earlier from a number I didn't recognise, with a recorded voice saying it was from the National Insurance office. Supposedly I’m under investigation for tax evasion - yeah, as if! It kept telling me to press 1 to speak to some investigator, and just kept looping the message unless I hung up or played along. Pretty sure HM Treasury wouldn’t be ringing you from some dodgy mobile number like that.
