This bloke called me from a number I’ve never seen before, pretending to be from Lincolnshire police. He said there was some terrible complaint against me and that I had to go down to the station. Turns out it was John, the tree surgeon who sometimes rings up cold selling his services - he usually calls from his business number 07876 543 521. The whole thing was daft, and I instantly knew it was him from his voice. I’ve let the real police know about it now.
