I got a call saying they wanted me to do some transaction from my bank and send money to another number! I ended up hanging up and phoned my bank straight away. Thankfully, nothing had gone through since I never moved any money. The bank appreciated me letting them know about the number as well. If anyone gets a call from 0771758372, just hang up right away and don’t engage with them!

Got a call claiming there was a transaction from my bank and they needed me to send money to some other number. I just told them no and ended the call. Later I rang my bank to be sure and there was nothing going out in my account. They thanked me for reporting the number and said they’d look into it. Honestly, if you see a call from 0771758372, don’t pick up or just hang straight away!

It’s pointless just complaining about these scam calls if nobody acts on it. Someone shared some advice on 23/09 about the steps to take - why not follow through? These calls aren’t only annoying, they can actually lead to real harm, especially for vulnerable folks who might end up getting scammed for real! We all need to take some responsibility here.

Got a call from someone with a really dodgy line, could hear a bunch of Asian voices in the background, sounded like a scam trying to get info out of me. I just ended the call straight away. Best just to hang up if you get something similar.

somebody called claiming to be from a debt collection firm, telling me i owed money and was already paying it back. i told them that wasnt true and asked how they got my details. right after that, they just ended the call.

Got a call from 07717833267, and it’s definitely a scam. Some bloke with an Indian accent claimed he was calling from a debt consolidation firm. He told me I owed loads on credit cards and catalogue debts, which is totally untrue. I could hear loads of other voices chatting away in the background, like it was a whole call centre full of scammers. When I told him I was gonna report it as fraud, he just laughed and said, “Go on then, love!”

For the past week or so, I've been getting calls pretty much every day. Most of the time I just don’t answer. But whenever I do, the person on the other end just hangs up right away. Honestly, it’s quite pointless these calls, so I’m going to block this number for good.
