Got a recorded call claiming to be from HMRC, saying there was an arrest warrant out for me. The usual nonsense. I figured I’d mess with them a bit and pressed 1 to talk. When I asked what tax year was the issue, they said 2018-2020 - laughable. Don’t be fooled, it’s a total scam. I gave them a fake name and a police station postcode, and they actually confirmed it matched. Managed to waste about 10 minutes of their time. Ended it by telling them they’ll burn in hell and then hung up.
