Today I got a call from this number saying money had been withdrawn from my accounts. I decided to call 159 to check it out, but I wasn’t really convinced by what happened. I got an automated voice asking me to choose my bank, so I said Lloyds. Then another recorded message asked me for my account number, which I wasn’t comfortable giving. Is 159 really the right number to dial in cases like this?
