Got called by someone pretending to be HMRC, and the moment I answered, they charged me 23p just for picking up. Then they wanted me to leave a voicemail that was charging me around 10-20p every minute! Scary thing is, this guy - said his name was John Heath - already had my address and even knew the amount I supposedly owed the tax office. It's terrifying how these scammers get hold of such personal info. Honestly, just block the number straight away and don't even bother answering.
