07717 174156 rang up my old neighbour claiming they’d be nearby and wanted to pop round the next morning to test the air in her home for covid. Even though my neighbour kept saying no, the person on the phone, who sounded very polite, kept pushing saying they’d keep a safe distance. Luckily, she was clever enough to just hang up on them.

I got a call from 07177174156 but all I heard was some sort of office background chatter, then the line just went dead on me.

a woman called me, with a lot of background office noise, saying she was from prodry uk in bournemouth. she mentioned they had damp survey engineers coming to my area tomorrow or very soon and offered a free inspection. i'd already had calls like this before, which usually end up pushing you to buy some kind of ventilation system for your loft. it's funny how this same number has apparently been linked to amazon scam calls as well. i’ve gone ahead and blocked the number now - hoping that stops these annoying calls!

Got another one of those calls where as soon as I pick up, the line just goes dead on the other side. On Friday, I had this dodgy call pretending to be from Amazon trying to scam me. Make sure you catch Martin Lewis on ITV at 8pm tonight, he's talking about these scam calls. Honestly, these calls are driving me nuts. Lucky for me, I usually think quick and can nicely tell them to jog on, haha.
