I called this number back and the bloke who picked up said he wasn’t the one who had rung me.

I missed the call from this number and it went to my voicemail. The person claimed there was suspicious activity linked to my Amazon account, talking about charges of £899 and £100. They told me to follow their instructions if I didn’t recognise those purchases, but honestly, I wasn’t really paying attention after a while. This "Amazon" scam sounds familiar - I got a similar call on another phone recently. Looks like they’re just switching up the numbers they use. I’ve blocked this one now!
