I got a call from 07716 960602 claiming to be from Visa about a supposed £799 charge on my Amazon account. They asked me to press 1 to speak with Customer Service, who then pretended to be from Amazon. Obviously, it was just a scam trying to rip me off. When I told the ‘customer service rep’ that I’m registered with the Telephone Preference Service and can't be contacted like this, he suddenly got really rude and started shouting filthy abuse at me before hanging up. Such a horrible experience.
