This number rang me claiming to be from Amazon’s security team saying there was suspicious activity on my account. They told me they’d send a code to my phone and asked me to read it out to them. Foolishly, I gave them the OTP, which could have let them reset my password! Total scam. Luckily, I caught on quick and didn’t let it go any further. I immediately changed my password and activated two-factor authentication to be safe. I’ve reported everything to Action Fraud now. Be careful and don’t pick up if this number calls you!
