I got a call from a mobile number saying it was my bank's security team. They told me my visa/master was charged with payments of £700 and £900 today. They said to press 1 if I wanted to cancel these charges. DO NOT PRESS 1 or any other buttons, it’s just a trick to get into your phone info. Real banks don’t call from mobiles. Also, they would mention your name or postcode to prove who they are. My own bank never approves payments without first texting me a security code. So if you get this type of call, just hang up!
