Totally a scam! Got a robotic call supposedly from amazon, then got put through to some call centre in India or Pakistan. I spent a good 5 minutes messing about with the guy, chatting about renewing my prime subscription (I’ve never even signed up for amazon lol). Eventually, the scammer twigged I was just messing him about!

Got a call from someone claiming to be Amazon, but it was an automated message first then they passed me on to a call centre in India. They wanted my account details and name to “verify” a purchase. If it were really Amazon, they’d have that info already, right? Just hang up straight away. Also, Amazon never contacts you from mobile numbers or dodgy looking ones. You can check by trying to ring them back yourself. These fraudsters are just awful, be careful!
