Someone claiming to be from Legal & General got in touch with me after I had a call from NHS Track and Trace asking if I had covid life insurance. I wasn’t fooled and just told them a fib knowing it was dodgy. Sure enough, they rang back saying my life insurance had expired and I had to renew it over the phone. I just told them I’m not interested in renewing anything.

Two weeks back, I got a phone call from someone claiming to be the NHS checking on my covid insurance status. I decided to mess with them and gave some made-up insurance info. Now, this same number is ringing me again, saying they're from the insurance outfit. Pretty obvious scam to me. I'm gonna report it to the police on 101.

A bloke with an Indian accent called, saying his name was Richard Brown and that he was a senior manager from Sun Alliance, my life insurance company. When I told him he didn’t sound like he worked there, he just ended the call straight away!

A few weeks back I got a call claiming to be from the NHS about the covid jab. Something felt off when they started asking about my life insurance company. I said Legal & General, but that was a fib. Today, the same number rang again, this time pretending to be from Legal & General asking about my policy. Don’t fall for it, just ignore and end the call.
