I spend most of the year away from the UK and don’t have a car here at the moment. The call started with a British lady claiming I’d been in a car accident that wasn’t my fault. I chuckled and told her I’d never had any accidents around here. Then she said "just a moment" and passed me on to a bloke with an Indian accent. I couldn’t catch what he was saying, so I asked if I could help him. He went quiet. I called him out on the scam and warned that I’d report the number to the Police, telling him firmly to never ring me again. No reply. I repeated myself and then ended the call.
