Somebody rang me claiming to be from Amazon, saying there was an iPhone purchase on my account. I told them my account had additional security, so that couldn’t be right, and they got quite defensive. Then they tried to send me a code through WhatsApp, supposedly from Amazon, with a note saying not to share it unless I requested it. When I said I wouldn’t give the code to anyone, she insisted it was her sending it and that I had to share it with her. I repeated that my account was secured and that she wouldn’t get the code. After I wouldn’t budge, she just ended the call.
