I got a message from someone called Scarlett claiming to be from Edent Scott, saying they were offering a job. I haven’t checked any job websites in ages, like over 8 years, and definitely not searching now. This isn’t the first weird text I’ve had recently either, but the previous one didn’t mention any company or name. Best thing is just to ignore and bin them.

The number +447394280631 came up claiming to be Nora from Amiti Consulting. When I asked how they found my number, they gave some vague story about their data centre. I tried to see what profession they thought I was in, but they just told me to get in touch if I was interested and then said something like “have a nice life”. After I sent a official SAR request under GDPR, they promptly vanished.

Got a call from someone saying they were Nora at “Amiti Consulting,” offering me a job and asking if I wanted the info sent over. I’m not even on any job search sites, so I don’t know where they got my number. Sounds like a load of rubbish to me.
