I got a call about Universal Credit pushing an IVA because of my debts. I mentioned I actually work at a debt charity, so I’m pretty sure I don’t need an IVA at all. It’s a bit frustrating since I have no clue how they got my info. Asked them to take my number off their calling list. They’d already rung me twice before from the same place.

I got a call from someone talking about universal credit and telling me I owed like £43k, saying if they didn’t sort it out with the creditors, bailiffs would be involved. What freaked me out was they even knew my full name and some old address I hadn’t lived at for over a decade!
