This number showed up on my missed calls, so I rang back. A bloke answered and said his name was Richard, mentioned a company, then immediately asked who I was. I’m not very comfortable sharing personal details with strangers, so I asked him to say the company name again. He got quite rude, kept pressing me for my info, but wouldn’t say who he really was. Then he started confusing me by asking if I was someone named Shirley and threw out another random name. Overall, he was quite pushy and not helpful at all. I ended up hanging up and blocking the number straight away!

This number's been ringing me up loads, twice just today, always looking for someone called Angelina Clark. When I told the bloke to quit ringing, he got a bit rude and said he'd be giving my number to someone else. Quite annoying!

Got a call from some bloke saying he was with the MID Insurance Database, going on about an accident I supposedly had. When I asked him where he was calling from, he just repeated the same crap. I told him if he was really from the insurance company, he’d already have the info and didn’t need to ask me. That made him snap and start being rude before he just cut me off. Sounds like some poor guy with a dodgy accent trying his luck.

Got a call from some bloke claiming he was from MIB about a road traffic accident, spouting a name and address at me. I told him he wasn’t actually with any official body, and then he started rambling on about mobile phones and whatnot. I told him straight up that was nonsense, and he just got all hostile, repeating the same name and address over and over. I told him he’d got the wrong person, laughed it off and said it’s sad how he tries to con folks like that. Then he just hung up. All in all, a daft and aggressive scammer trying to pull info out of me.

Got a call from a rude bloke today claiming to be from Legal Assist, and he even knew my name and address. He started asking about an accident I apparently had, which is rubbish because nothing happened. He said his name was Calumn Wells. When I tried calling the number back, a guy who called himself Andrew picked up and then just hung up on me. Since then, he’s not answered any of my calls.

This number called me a while ago and a bloke said he was from some sort of motor claims investigation group. He was asking about a car crash I supposedly had recently and, oddly, he already knew where I lived. I told him I had no clue who he was, so I wasn’t going to chat. Then he said he’d connect me to the investigator, but I told him not to bother and that if it was genuine, I’d expect a letter from the company. He tried to keep the convo going, but I just hung up and blocked the number straight away.

This number rang me up and the bloke was really nasty. He called me a liar and told me to mature, which was quite shocking. He mentioned some name and an address in Wolverhampton, but I’ve no clue about them. I keep getting calls about this person and it’s getting pretty annoying. Honestly, this number should be flagged because the guy on the other end is just rude and disrespectful. Someone needs to sort this out!

What a horrible bloke! He rang up claiming I’d been in some kind of accident, which was complete rubbish. I told him I work at a law firm that handles genuine road traffic claims all the time, so I’d be pretty aware if anything had happened to me, and that I’d stick with my own solicitors. He got really aggressive, saying he’d hold onto my number now since I ‘knew so much’ and demanded to know my job. I told him that was none of his business, then just hung up and blocked him straight away. Proper nasty and intimidating chap. Honestly, this number should be looked into.

I got a call from a bloke talking about a motor claim. When I asked who he was and where he was calling from, he turned really nasty and started getting angry. I kept probing and asked why he was using a mobile number, and he threatened to report me to the fraud department. I told him to go ahead, and that I'd be passing his info to the police. After that, he just hung up on me.

Got a call from some bloke claiming I’d recently reported a tiny car accident. I told him I’ve never even had a bump, no claims here. He then asked about the last time I’d been in a crash and I said thankfully, never. He tried asking about other people living here but his accent was hard to catch. When I asked him to say that again, he just ended the call.

Got a call off 07714 268199 bloke claiming to be from the Motor Insurance Bureau about some accident I'd supposedly been in. I asked him if it ever gets boring when folks don’t fall for his nonsense, then he dropped my address on me. I just had a laugh and hung up. Haven’t heard from him again since!

Just like others have said, I got a call from some bloke with a strong Liverpool accent. He knew my name and where I lived and kept going on about some accident I supposedly had, but I hadn't. When I started asking questions, he got proper rude, so I just hung up. Definitely best to stay away from these sorts of calls!

Some bloke called, said he was from an insurance firm and claimed someone from my place had made a claim. Asked who else drives there if it wasn’t me. I didn’t want to answer any more questions and told him to take my number off their list. He said he’d pass it on to their investigations team. Yeah right, like that’ll happen. Proper rude and snobby, just a pain altogether. Ended up just hanging up on him.

So, this bloke rang me up out of the blue claiming I’d been in some kind of accident. I told him straight I hadn’t, but he just got all hostile and insisted his details were correct. When I stuck to saying I hadn’t made any claim, he got even more rude and said he was fed up with people like me and was gonna send my info over to the investigations team. Someone rang my wife’s phone pretending there’d been a car crash - which isn’t the first time they’ve done this. I told them straight up to stop calling, but they kept ringing back. Eventually, my wife picked up and spoke to them in Thai, figuring they’d just hang up. Instead, the caller asked her if she wanted to go out for dinner!

Got a call from someone claiming to be from a car insurance firm, asking if a certain family member was available. I asked for the car’s registration number related to the matter, but he couldn’t provide any details. Then he wanted me to pass on the family member’s phone number. Got a call from this number yesterday, some bloke claiming I had money owed because I was in a car accident. I told him I don’t drive and haven’t been in any crashes. He asked if I’d been riding as a passenger, which I denied, and he said that was odd. Weirdly, he knew my old address, but thankfully I’ve just moved out of there. Then he asked if anyone else lived there who might have been in an accident. He said he was ringing from 'First Response' or something like that. I looked them up online but couldn’t find much info on them. Seems dodgy to me.

Then they said they’d keep ringing me anyway! Feels like a breach of data protection to me - once you’re told your info is wrong, it’s up to you to sort it out, not to keep pestering the wrong number.

This number called me, and after my partner made it clear they weren't welcome, they still kept at it. I lost count after they called back 9 times, and then to top it off, they phoned three more times using a private number. Honestly, someone ought to take legal action against these persistent callers!

Today, I received a call from this number, purporting to be from First Response inquiring about a traffic accident. When I requested that they cease calling me, the chap on the other end was quite impolite, responding with, "What's with all the shouting?" It struck me as far from professional. Having worked in a call centre myself, I’m well aware of the nuances in tone and the usual background sounds-there was none of that here. It all seemed rather fishy, so I’ve gone ahead and blocked the number.
