So, this lady calling on behalf of some boiler replacement company linked to the Green Deal in Fife rang me earlier, only to start yelling and swearing, even threatening me with “you won’t be laughing later”. I’ve been getting calls from them nonstop - like three times a day, almost every day for over a year - and after trying loads of times to unsubscribe, I finally got fed up and arranged for their salesperson to visit. When he showed up, I calmly told him I wasn’t interested in buying a new boiler and asked him to stop bombarding me with those automated calls. He wasn’t too pleased, got all argumentative saying I wasted his time and petrol, and I just told him I didn’t care. He kept moaning and debating, so I just laughed and told him to bugger off. He warned me about my language, but I just laughed again and called him a daft c***. Not long after, his office rang me back and started abusing me. I did 1471 on the call, and that’s the number it showed.
