I recently received a call that had my name, my insurance provider, and even my mobile number. At first, it appeared legitimate, but then it dawned on me that it was a con! They claimed to be from 'road mishap insurance' but got quite irate when I pressed for the exact name of their company. Ultimately, they resorted to hurling insults at me before abruptly ending the call. What a sham!

What a rather clever scam that was! I just received a call purporting to be from my insurance company, Esure, concerning some personal injury claims. They threw around a whole heap of legal jargon about different classifications of injuries - apparently category 2 injuries, no less! They had a surprising amount of information about my recent car mishap, which made it all sound quite convincing. But as they started to dig deeper, I began to cotton on that something was off. I wrapped up the conversation by saying I’d consult with my insurers before proceeding. Definitely better safe than sorry!

I received a rather dodgy call from someone claiming to be from an official accident compensation firm. They insisted that they needed to verify whether my insurance provider was fulfilling all legal requirements and that updating my details was a necessity. When I suggested I would reach out to the company directly, he suddenly became quite irate, stating that my insurer would have to take care of it instead, before abruptly ending the conversation. It’s clear as day that this chap was up to no good-definitely a scam.
