I received a rather unexpected call featuring a rather polished voice recording claiming there was a £1,000 transfer linked to my Amazon account from my bank, alongside a £250 purchase. The automated message instructed me to press 1 if the information was accurate, or 2 if I suspected it was a scam. Quite bewildering, to say the least!
