Today, I got a call from a woman who immediately started telling me I’d supposedly taken part in some kind of educational book programme last year. She said she was ringing to thank me and let me know it went really well, and that she wanted to send me a certificate of appreciation. Then she asked if I preferred it to be in my own name or the company’s. I cut her off right there and told her I had no idea what she was on about. After a bit of silence, she said she’d check and get back to me. Sure, I never heard from her again.

Got a call from HMRC but the voice sounded American and totally robotic. Pretty sure it was one of those scam calls trying to steal personal info.
